Early Life and College Career
Born on March 16, 1989, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Blake Griffin stands at an impressive 6-9, 250 lbs, and is 113 kg. He played college basketball at the University of Oklahoma and holds numerous school and Big 12 records. During his time there, he recorded 20 points and 15 rebounds at least 15 times, the most in Big 12 history. Additionally, he set records for single-season rebounds (504) and rebounding average (14.4).
NBA Career and Stats
Griffin was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He has since played for the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics. In his NBA career, he has averaged 21.6 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, and 5.1 assists per game. He has also been named to six NBA All-Star teams and won the NBA Rookie of the Year award in 2011.
